The data contained here are from the Agencia Estatal de Meteorologia (AEMET) and are part of the Year of Polar Prediction-Southern Hemisphere (YOPP-SH) Targeted Observing Period (TOP), with data spanning 1 May 2022 through 31 August 2022.
In the model_output directory, there are daily files that contain all 20 members of ANTARCTICA-gSREPS raw data
in GRIB format version 2. The format is a tar.gz file with name: gSREPS_YYYYMMDD_00.tar.gz where: YYYY: four-digit year, MM: two-digit month, DD: two-digit day.
In the plots directory, there are .png files of plotted model forecast output from specific case studies during this TOP. Three areas are plotted for each case study: Antarctica Peninsula, Shetlands and Livingston Island. The five case studies are described below.
